Chakras are energy centres in the body that affect our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Our lifestyle choices, life experiences and outside influences can affect how efficiently energy flows through our bodies and through the Chakras. When we use visualisation and Mantra (sound) to open and align the Chakras it helps us to draw our energy upwards and pull away from the world of the senses and the world of matter, to go deeper into meditation practice.
During this two hour workshop you will learn how the Chakras work, how they relate to our physiology and anatomy and how we can bring them into alignment. You will be guided through a pre-meditative yoga sequence and breathing practice (pranayam) to encourage sense withdrawal (pratyahara). This will be followed by a guided Chakra meditation and post-meditation grounding sequence.
