Therapeutic Yoga Classes FAQs
What should I bring to a yoga class?
You will need a yoga mat, comfortable clothing, and a water bottle. Props like blocks or blankets are helpful but not essential.
Can I join if I have an injury or health condition?
Yes, but ensure you have consulted your health care practitioner before booking a class to make sure it is suitable for you. If you have any questions about your existing health condition or injury, please let Denise know in advance.
What kind of atmosphere or approach can I expect in class?
The space is welcoming, grounded, and non-competitive. Expect a focus on breath, awareness, and connection rather than perfect poses.
How often should I practice yoga to feel the benefits?
Let your body be your guide. See how you feel after you’ve practiced and take it from there. This is particularly important if you’re new to yoga as doing too much too soon can lead to injury.
